You will work closely with the HR team and department heads to understand hiring needs, create effective job descriptions, source candidates, and ensure a smooth recruitment process. Your goal will be to bring in exceptional individuals who are passionate about gaming, blockchain technology, and the future of virtual worlds.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition:
Lead full-cycle recruitment for various roles, including but not limited to game developers, artists, designers, marketers, and community managers.Job Description Creation:
Collaborate with hiring managers to create clear and compelling job descriptions that align with the needs of the project.Sourcing Candidates:
Utilize various sourcing channels (job boards, LinkedIn, networking events, social media, and more) to find top talent for Astralium Virtual Worlds.Candidate Screening:
Review resumes, conduct initial screenings, and assess candidates for cultural fit, skills, and experience.Interviewing:
Coordinate and conduct interviews, working with department leads to ensure a streamlined hiring process.Employer Branding:
Work with the marketing team to build and promote the Astralium brand as an employer of choice within the gaming and blockchain industries.Onboarding:
Support the onboarding process to ensure new hires are integrated into the team smoothly and effectively.Data Management:
Track recruitment metrics, maintain candidate databases, and report on hiring progress.Diversity and Inclusion:
Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives, ensuring that our recruitment process attracts a diverse range of candidates.Community Engagement:
Actively engage with the community, especially through social media platforms, to promote open roles and represent Astralium in relevant forums or online groups.
Candidate Requirements:
Essential:
- Proven experience as a Recruiter, preferably in the gaming, tech, or creative industries.
- Familiarity with hiring for roles in game development, blockchain, and creative sectors.
- Strong knowledge of modern recruitment strategies, including social media sourcing, networking, and leveraging job boards.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage and persuade top talent.
- Ability to assess candidate skills and cultural fit effectively.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Knowledge of recruitment tools and platforms, including LinkedIn, job boards, and ATS (Applicant Tracking System).
- Ability to manage multiple open roles and deadlines.
- Experience with remote and flexible workforce hiring is a plus.
- Passion for gaming, virtual worlds, blockchain, or other related industries.
Preferred:
- Experience working with startups or within rapidly growing companies.
- Familiarity with the latest trends in gaming and blockchain recruitment.
- Previous experience in a tech-driven or gaming environment is a plus.
- Familiarity with the unique needs of hiring for virtual and remote teams.
- A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
